Jenny joined Concours Mold in 2012 after finishing her Business Associate Degree in Marketing at St. Clair College. Without any experience in the mold industry, Jenny was more excited to venture into a new environment that is totally out of her comfort zone. “I started working at Concours Mold without any mold experience but I was willing and excited to learn. My first role as an RFQ Coordinator was to organize and process the information for quote completion by the tool estimator in the Estimating Department for about six months.” Jenny shared. Her attentiveness, critical thinking, and impressive organization skills landed her to a crucial role as Production Control Administrator where she worked with the management team to establish a more structured and systemic operation process on the shop floor from milestone building, managing throughput, and scheduling, and overall shop floor capacity. Due to its effective results, she was sent to Concours Mold Mexicana to apply the same practice and train with the team for four to five months.
Jenny advanced her career into Program Management where she’s responsible as direct contact of the customer and attends to the needs of their project requirements from design phase to final tool delivery and at the same time providing quote solutions and negotiating requirements to specific accounts. “Over five years now as a Program Manager at Concours Mold, the whole experience so far is a whirlwind of challenges and fun where I learn new things every day. I’m also able to connect and interact with people internally and externally in the business, share our life stories, challenges and lessons learned together which makes it all that much more enjoyable. I enjoy everything about it” says Jenny.
Her ambitions to be the best in the industry made her decide to pursue an additional 1-year course in Project Management Professional (PMP) at Atocrates/ St. Clair College and get her master certification in Project Management. PMP certification is globally recognized as the gold standard in project management where she’s trained to complete more projects on time, on budget and meet original goals.
Jenny’s journey and remarkable work performance throughout the years haven’t gone unnoticed. She was recently recognized by MoldMaking Technology (MMT) in its inaugural “30-under-30 Honors Program: The New Face of Mold Manufacturing”. Where few young professionals are carefully selected who they believe is making strides in shaping the industry’s future. Congratulations Jenny for this incredible achievement. You make us all proud. Continue to break barriers and serve as an inspiration to everyone in the community.
